DUBAI (United Arab Emirates) - DUBAI'S Al Wasl club says it has made a bid for Atletico Madrid striker Diego Forlan and is awaiting a response from the Spanish club.
The club, which earlier this month hired Argentine legend Diego Maradona as coach, said in a statement on Tuesday it initially made an offer which Atletico Madrid rejected so it has made an 'improved bid.'
