SANTO DOMINGO - A JOCKEY has been thrown from his horse and killed during a race in the Dominican Republic.
Miguel Sanchez, 21, died on Monday after losing control of his mount, Mighty Elixir, in the final straight of a race at the Quinto Centenario track.
