LIVERPOOL - LIVERPOOL replaced Tottenham in fifth place in the Premier League on Sunday, beating Newcastle 3-0 with goals from in-form Maxi Rodriguez, Dirk Kuyt and Luis Suarez at Anfield.
Both Liverpool and Tottenham have 55 points but Liverpool, which has played one more game, has a better goal difference. Fifth place secures a spot in next season's Europa League.
