PARIS - THE French Football Federation said on Friday it would back incumbent Sepp Blatter in the upcoming Fifa presidential election as he goes up against Asian football supremo Mohamed Bin Hammam.
Whereas England's FA revealed on Thursday that it would abstain, smarting from a crushing defeat last December in the battle to stage the 2018 World Cup, the French said they would go with Blatter in the June 1 poll.
