THE Singapore Ice Skating Association's (Sisa's) bid to produce the Republic's first Winter Olympian at the 2014 Sochi Games has gathered pace.
Sisa yesterday secured provisional membership for speed skating with the International Skating Union (ISU), and will now be able to send its short-track speed skaters to ISU-sanctioned events like the World Cup, World Championships and the Olympics.
