TOKYO - THE organisers of October's world gymnastics championships in Tokyo said on Wednesday they hope to save the event from 'hysteria' following Japan's quake and tsunami disasters and nuclear crisis.
The March 11 triple catastrophe has disrupted several sporting events in Japan, forcing the 2011 world figure skating championships to be moved from Tokyo to Moscow and postponed by one month to start next week.
