LONDON - WIMBLEDON organizers have announced that the singles champions at the 2011 tournament will each receive 1.1 million pounds (S$2.2 million), an increase of 10 per cent from last year.
Last year, prize money for the singles champions broke the 1 million pound (S$2 million) mark for the first time.
