NEW YORK - DISNEY is considering a marketing deal that would unite the Olympic rings and such iconic characters as Mickey Mouse in support of an ESPN-ABC bid for US television rights to upcoming Olympics.
Sports Business Journal reported on Monday that Disney, ESPN's parent company, is working on a pitch for the International Olympic Committee ahead of next month's bidding for 2014 Sochi and 2016 Rio de Janeiro Games television rights.
